Elena Massignani

Elena Massignani is a lawyer working in the field of Personal Data Protection.

Trained in criminal law, she has been dealing with personal Data Protection since 2019. In her experience, she has mainly deepened the issues related to the impact of privacy regulations on companies operating in the HSEQ sector, offering advice to leading companies and related business functions in the implementation of their governance systems for the purpose of compliance with privacy regulations.

She has also gained experience in the field of administrative liability of entities deriving from offences (pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/01), carrying out consultancy activities for the purpose of adopting and implementing the Organization, Management and Control Model, definition of internal systems and procedures, auditing activities, updating of the corporate organizational chart and all activities related to the risk management, including criminal one, of failure to comply with the prescribed privacy requirements.

As part of the consulting activity, she has also participated as a speaker in high-level training courses on Personal Data Protection, also in light of the prescribed training obligation of employees and collaborators imposed by the GDPR.

In March 2018 she graduated with honors in Law from the Bocconi University of Milan, with a thesis in criminal procedural law entitled: “Legal remedies against the judgment of non-prosecution between substantial justice and deflative needs: from the Vassalli code to the Orlando reform”.

She has been a lawyer at the Court of Rome since 2022.

Elena has been with PANETTA since 2022.
