During the Data Protection Congres held in Brussels on 17 and 18 November, Rocco Panetta attended the IAPP Board of Directors meeting. IAPP is the world’s largest international association of privacy professionals with over 70,000 members.
Joining the congress were Vincenzo Tiani, Partner in the Brussels office, and Strand Advisory Partners Kate Colleary (Dublin), IAPP Country Leader for Ireland, who introduced the speech by Irish Authority Commissioner Helen Dixon, and Dan Or-Hof (Tel Aviv).
The opportunity to meet live two years after the last congress in Brussels undoubtedly made this edition even more special. The challenges in the world of privacy are still considerable, and the need for discussion on finding appropriate solutions has never been so urgent.
