Does still make sense to distinguish marketing and profiling purposes?

Following the Masterclass organized by AFGE, on March 18th 2020, on marketing and profiling, our Partner Lorenzo Cristofaro and our Junior Associate Marta Fraioli have published an article (in Italian here) in collaboration with AFGE which further analyzes such subject.

This article aims to provide an evolutionary perspective on the processing of personal data for marketing and profiling purposes, especially in an era, such the one we are living in, characterized by the use of IoT and the ubiquity of social networks.
